Danny and Judy Ridings added a new addition to their family recently - with the help of Robbie Mullins from Auto World.  Robbie delivered a brand new 2011 Dodge Challenger R/T with the 5.7L HEMI to the Ridings.  When asked about the addition to their family, Judy said "now Baby HEMI gets a little sister".  Auto World would like to say 'thank you' to Mr. and Mrs. Ridings.  We hope you enjoy your new baby!

Carla Weatherbee is the lucky winner of the Diamond Getaway giveaway at Auto World in Big Stone Gap.  Carla registered during our RAM truck display this past weekend at the Wal-Mart in Norton, VA.  Carla said that she stopped by to look at the new RAM trucks, which she loves, and decided to register while she was there.


As the winner of the getaway, Carla will be able to choose from one of three great trips... Las Vegas, Cancun, or a Carnival Cruise.  Carla says that she is not sure yet which trip she will choose but is looking forward to a vacation.  Auto World would like to congratulate Carla.  We know she will have a great time on her trip no matter which one she chooses!

AutoWorld is proud to announce we just sponsored our 13th golf tournament at the Lonesome Pine Country Club in Big Stone Gap, VA.  This years tournament saw nearly 100 local players coming together on Friday May 20th to raise money for the AutoWorld / MECC scholarships.
     
This event donates 100% of the money raised to our local college to aid those students who, otherwise, may not be able to attend.
      
Everyone seemed to have a great time.  At the end of the days events a buffet was provided and an auction was held to raise additional funds.
     
Auto World would like to thank all of the players, our hole sponsors, the LPCC, and MECC for a great turnout and a great day of golf.  This event offers a tremendous amount of assistance for local students and we could not have done it without your help!  Thank you!

Chrysler brand named 'Top Popular Brand'

in Vehicle Satisfaction Awards

·         - 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee wins in 'Premium Mid-size SUV' category

·         - Chrysler Town & Country tops 'Minivan' category

The Chrysler brand has been named the "Top Popular Brand" in AutoPacific's 15th annual Vehicle Satisfaction Awards, said Jamie Hopkins, the Internet Manager at AutoWorld of Big Stone Gap, VA.

In addition, two Chrysler Group vehicles, the new 2011 Chrysler Town & Country and the all-new 2011 Jeep® Grand Cherokee, won top honors in their categories in the annual survey of customer satisfaction. Town & Country won in the "Minivan" category and Grand Cherokee topped the "Premium Mid-size SUV" category.

AutoPacific's Vehicle Satisfaction Award is an industry benchmark for measuring how satisfied an owner is with his/her new vehicle. This study by the Southern California-based automotive research firm summarizes the results of more than 68,000 new vehicle owners.

"Vehicles that score highest in the Vehicle Satisfaction Awards are delivering value and satisfaction across a wide range of attributes, performing well in 48 separate categories that objectively measure the ownership experience," George Peterson, president of AutoPacific, said. "The new Chrysler Town & Country and Jeep Grand Cherokee demonstrate that Chrysler's new approach to product execution is resonating with buyers."

For 2011, every Chrysler brand vehicle is new or significantly refreshed, resulting in beautifully crafted vehicles with new powertrains, upgraded suspensions, world-class interiors and an exhilarating driving experience.

"We are honored that the satisfaction experienced by our owners with their new Chrysler vehicle has resulted in winning the 'Top Popular Brand' in AutoPacific's Vehicle Satisfaction Awards," said Mr. Hopkins.

Accolades continue to mount for the Jeep brand's premium SUV, as the Grand Cherokee received the highest spot in vehicle satisfaction for the "Premium Mid-size SUV" category.

The new murals are really starting to take shape ... They still have some finishing touches left to perform but the end results will look great.

As you can see, the work in our showroom is coming along nicely ...  We cannot wait to see what the finished designs will look like.
